Dear Sir(s),

Please accept this letter as the official notice of my resignation. I'm not a stupid man, and since I have no other prospects I will not set a date for the termination of my employment with you as I do not wish to be without some form of compensation. Just know that sooner or later, probably later than sooner, it will happen.

I feel that I need to follow my dreams and do the type of work that will allow my true talents to flourish:Therefore, when I am quite certain that I can make a good living doing what I truly love, and know I do well, I'll be leaving.

I have not been actively pursuing employment in my new chosen field as I am somewhat lacking in confidence and am also unsure of where to begin. If you know of anyone who would pay me for my talents I would greatly appreciate it if you would suggest they contact me with an offer.

Download the pdf file, print it out and give it to your boss in the morning as if it's a real letter of resignation. I think everyone will have a great laugh.
